There's a new competition just starting at It's Art website, entitled - 'When We Left Earth'. Look in my LINKS box above if you want to go and have a look at the details..
I've deleted the out of date/completed competitions now. About time eh! I'll be adding some new ones in as I spot them.

Hi folks.
My name's Nick Harris and I've been a full time freelance illustrator in children's publishing since 1982. With all the many other groups and forums on offer, I thought it might be nice to have one especially for the more bookish amongst us. If like me you prefer your imagery to have narrative content, we might have lots to talk about.
A big warm welcome to any who decide to join. I look forward to the exchange of thoughts and ideas in prospect.
Cheers,
Nick

walking on egg shells

This is a piece that I did to express the feeling of walking on egg shells. In life people walk on egg shells, but sometimes it could lead to consequences as shown in this piece.

"20X16 Acrylic on Panel: I had the real pleasure of painting this scene just 2 blocks North of my home with world famous artist and friend Ted Blackall. He got his 24X20 Oil together and done in 2 hours. I struggled on for the next 2 days to finish.…"
